1. Data We Collect

The App stores the following information locally on your device only. None of this data is ever sent to us or any third party:

1.1 Information You Optionally Provide

• Your name – Entered during onboarding for personalization. Stored locally and never transmitted.

1.2 Data Generated by App Usage

• Prayer log – Your daily Namaz records (completed, missed, or Qaza) with completion times.
• Prayer settings – Custom prayer times, reminder offsets, notification preferences, and sound selection (Azan / default tone).
• Quran reading progress – Last read Surah and Ayah position, reading streaks, and translation preferences (Arabic / Urdu / English).
• App preferences – Notification settings, vibration toggle, language preference for the Islamic assistant.
• Scheduled notification IDs – Local identifiers for your prayer reminders stored on-device.

1.3 Data We Do NOT Collect

• No name, email, phone number, or address (beyond the optional name you provide locally)
• No GPS or location data
• No contacts, photos, or files
• No device identifiers, advertising IDs, or IP addresses
• No usage analytics or crash reports
• No financial or payment information

2. How We Use Your Data

All data is used solely to operate the App on your device:

• Display your prayer tracking history and streaks
• Remember your Quran reading position between sessions
• Schedule and deliver prayer time reminders (Azan notifications)
• Save your personalization and notification preferences

We never sell, share, or transmit your data to any server, third party, or external service.

3. Internet & External Services

Real Muslim – Quran & Namaz is a fully offline application. It does not make any network requests. All content — including the complete Quran (Arabic, Urdu, and English translations), Islamic books, Duas, Azkar, and AI assistant responses — is bundled directly within the App and works without an internet connection.

The App does not integrate any of the following:

• Analytics platforms (Firebase, Mixpanel, etc.)
• Crash reporting services (Sentry, Bugsnag, etc.)
• Advertising networks (Google AdMob, Meta Ads, etc.)
• External AI or LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.)
• Cloud storage or sync services
• Social login or third-party authentication

4. AI Islamic Assistant

The App includes 4 Islamic assistant features (Quran Assistant, Seerah Assistant, Nehjul Balagha Assistant, and Waqia-e-Karbala Assistant). These are entirely rule-based and offline. They work by searching through locally bundled Islamic text data. No questions, inputs, or responses are sent to any external server or AI service.

5. Advertising & In-App Purchases

Real Muslim – Quran & Namaz contains no advertisements and no in-app purchases. The App is completely free with no monetization of any kind. No advertising SDKs are integrated.

6. Permissions

The App requests the following Android permissions, each used solely for the stated purpose:

• POST_NOTIFICATIONS – To deliver Azan prayer reminders for the 5 daily prayers.
• SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM – To schedule prayer alarms at precise times.
• RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED – To restore scheduled prayer alarms after the device restarts.
• REQUEST_IGNORE_BATTERY_OPTIMIZATIONS – To ensure prayer alarms fire reliably in battery saver mode.
• FOREGROUND_SERVICE & FOREGROUND_SERVICE_DATA_SYNC – To keep the home screen Quran Ayah widget updated in the background.
• WAKE_LOCK – To briefly wake the device when a prayer alarm fires so the notification is delivered.
• VIBRATE – To vibrate alongside prayer notifications for users in silent mode.

The App explicitly blocks microphone, audio modification, and media playback service permissions. No location, camera, contacts, or storage permissions are requested.

7. Data Storage & Security

All data is stored locally on your device using secure on-device storage (AsyncStorage). No data is transmitted over a network. You can delete all App data at any time by uninstalling the App or clearing its data from your device's Settings.

8. Children's Privacy

The App is suitable for all ages, including children. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from users of any age. Since no data leaves the device and no accounts are created, there are no special risks for younger users.

9. Your Rights

Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over it at all times:

• Access: All data is visible within the App itself.
• Deletion: Clear all data by going to Settings → Apps → Real Muslim → Clear Data, or simply uninstall the App.
• Portability: Not applicable — no data is held by us.

For users in the EU (GDPR), California (CCPA), or other jurisdictions with data protection laws: since we collect and store no personal data on our end, there is no data for us to provide, correct, or delete upon request. All data resides solely on your device.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted at this URL with an updated "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
